Today started out alright. I overslept a little, but it wasn't too bad because I didn't have any classes today, just a meeting, so it just meant I couldn't go for a jog, which again, isn't that bad. Then, when choosing what to wear today I made what I think of as my fatal mistake. I chose heels over flats and after Apparating to my usual spot a few blocks away from work, my lovely shoes (and they were really nice, too) betrayed me. The heel broke and I took a rather hard tumble, naturally this happened right in front of the studio and in front of several co-workers so I couldn't fix my shoe or my ankle which had swelled up pretty quickly.
I managed to talk anyone out of accompanying me to the muggle hospital, but had to take a taxi a few streets away so I could Apparate back to Mungo's where I've been waiting for the last almost hour.
Dem, if you see this before I get back home, don't worry. It really really hurts but I'm alright.
